Day 25 • Smithers to Valemount • 424 mi

With any luck, today will be the most boring day of the trip.

Smithers to Prince George is the closest thing northern BC has to, as my friend Joe put it, "awful, soul-crushing hyperslab". 2 lanes, flat, straight, fast(ish; it is still Canada). Gas and food every 10 miles.

Fortunately, it was still kinda pretty.

There's a lot of farmland out here.

Prince George to Valemount was at least a little better. Climbing back into the Canadian Rockies, things get a little more remote. People cut farmland directly out of the forest.

With a long day today, I'm almost back on pace despite the delays.
